To celebrate TechWeek, Te Wā Heke is holding several special FREE events for educators from the Wellington Region.

Explore how technology is changing the way we build houses, move around the city, the types of work available, and even the foods that we eat. Discover how things like artificial intelligence, autonomous vehicles, robots and 3D printing are changing our lives. Watch drones, explore virtual reality, see how an electric vehicle works, try weird and wacky future foods, learn about houses of the future and much more.

In this exclusive event, educators will be given sole access to Te Wā Heke Festival to learn about how technology is changing our lives every day. Gain inspiration and practical tips for using and discussing technology in your classroom. Drinks and nibbles will be provided and registration is required for entry.

There are also opportunities to bring your students to the festival between 10am – 3pm on Friday, 24th May, so please get in touch if you’d like to know more.

We ask attendees try their best to arrive on time to hear the full content and participate in the networking portion of the event. Doors will still be open however to any latecomers.
